This Agreement is between LakWeb Hosting Solutions <\/strong>(“Provider”) and the user (“Client”). By using our services, the Client confirms they are at least 18 years old and provide accurate billing information.<\/p>\n

II. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)<\/h4>\n

The Client agrees not<\/strong> to use the Provider’s servers for:<\/p>\n

  • Illegal Activity:<\/strong> Hosting or distributing copyrighted material without permission, malware, or fraudulent schemes.<\/li>\n
  • Spamming:<\/strong> Sending unsolicited bulk emails. All mailing lists must be “Double Opt-In.”<\/li>\n
  • System Abuse:<\/strong> Excessive use of CPU\/RAM on shared servers that impacts other users.<\/li>\n
  • Vulnerability:<\/strong> Running outdated software (e.g., old WordPress versions) that creates security risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    III. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Uptime<\/h4>\n

    • Guarantee:<\/strong> We guarantee 99.9%<\/strong> network uptime per calendar month.<\/li>\n
    • Remedy:<\/strong> If uptime falls below this, the Client may request a pro-rated service credit (e.g., 5% of the monthly fee for every hour of downtime).<\/li>\n
    • Exclusions:<\/strong> Scheduled maintenance and third-party upstream provider failures are excluded from uptime calculations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      IV. Data Responsibility & Backups<\/h4>\n

      • Backup Policy:<\/strong> While we perform [Daily\/Weekly] backups for disaster recovery, the Client is solely responsible<\/strong> for maintaining independent off-site backups of their data.<\/li>\n
      • No Liability:<\/strong> Provider is not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure, hacking, or Client error.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        V. Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds<\/h4>\n

        • Payments:<\/strong> Accounts are billed in advance. Failure to pay within 30 days of the due date will result in service suspension.<\/li>\n
        • Refunds:<\/strong> We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for shared hosting fees only. Domain names and SSL certificates are non-refundable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          VI. Limitation of Liability<\/h4>\n

          To the maximum extent permitted by law, LakWeb Hosting Solutions <\/strong>shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss of profits, data, or reputation resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.<\/p>\n\n
